For cash withdrawals through ATMs or over-the-counter transactions, a nominal fee will be charged as per the Schedule of Charges.
If I withdraw cash from my assigned Credit Card limit, then how much Service fee will I be charged?
For example, if you conduct a cash transaction of PKR 10,000 on the 10th of January and your bill is generated on the 20th of January then you will be charged with a Service fee in the same bill of PKR 119.17 and your total outstanding will be PKR 10,119.17.
The above calculations are based on an assumption of 39% APR, however, the Service fee may change as communicated from time to time through Schedule of Charges but the method of calculation will remain same. In case of Cash Advance, the Services fee will be charged on the daily unpaid balance of your Credit Card account from the date of transaction till the time full payment is posted.
Are Utility Bill payments considered a cash transaction or a retail transaction?
They are considered as retail transactions. RBS mc² Credit Card and RBS Ufone Credit Card customers may earn Reward Points and RBS airblue MasterCard customers may earn BlueMiles by conducting such transactions.
How is the mark-up on the Installment Plan calculated?
Your mark-up is calculated by multiplying the mark-up rate and the principal amount.
For example, on an Installment Plan of PKR 120,000 booked for a tenure of 24 months; your mark-up for a month will be calculated by multiplying the mark-up rate and the principal amount.
PKR 120,000 (principal) x 0.02 (monthly mark-up rate) = PKR 2,400
As indicated above, the mark-up is calculated on your transaction amount on a monthly basis with an assumption of 2% monthly mark-up rate. However, the Installment Plan mark-up rate may change as communicated from time to time through the Schedule of Charges but the method of calculation will remain the same
How is your monthly installment amount calculated?
Using the same example as above, you have booked an Installment Plan of PKR 120,000 for 24 months:
Your monthly principal component is calculated by multiplying the factor given in the table below for the tenure booked by the principal amount i.e.

0.0416 (factor) x PKR 120,000 (principal) = PKR 4,992
Your monthly principal component for 23 months will be PKR 4,992 as given above and the remaining principal amount will be part of your last monthly principal component. Hence, your last monthly principal component will be PKR 5,184
Your installment amount for 23 months will be calculated as follows:
(Principal component) + (mark-up for the month) or PKR 4,992 + PKR 2,400 = PKR 7,392
Your last installment amount i.e. for 24th month will be calculated as follows:
(Principal component) + (mark-up for the month) or PKR 5,184 + PKR 2,400 = PKR 7,584
If I make a minimum payment or amount less than the full balance, then how is the Service fee calculated on my retail transaction?
For example, if you conduct a retail transaction of PKR 15,000 on the 10th of January and your bill is generated on the 20th of January and you make a minimum payment of PKR 750 on the 7th of February, then you will be charged with a Service fee in the next bill generated on the 20th of February of PKR 671.13 and your total outstanding will be PKR 14,921.13.
The above calculations are based on an assumption of 39% APR, however, the Service fee may change as communicated from time to time through Schedule of Charges but the method of calculation will remain same.
The Service fee will be charged on each retail transaction from the transaction date to the date the statement is generated. For retail transactions, if you pay the minimum amount or any
amount less than the full balance by the Payment Due Date,
then for the transactions covered by the payment, the Service fee will be charged from the transaction date to the payment posting date. For the unpaid balance, a Service fee will be charged from the billing cycle date to the date the next Statement of Account is generated.
For all retail transactions, if full payment is received within the payment due date then no Service fee will be charged.
