What is ATM Withdrawal Insurance?
ATM Withdrawal Insurance is a comprehensive insurance package insuring cash withdrawn from any of our ATMs across Pakistan upto Rs.100, 000. It provides coverage for your cash withdrawn against theft or robbery for an hour after withdrawal.

Why is there a one hour limit on insurance coverage?
ATM Withdrawal Insurance provides insurance for your cash withdrawal from any of our ATMs across Pakistan. This time is kept as a sufficient buffer for you to secure or utilize your withdrawn cash.

How much do I need to pay and how?
As RBS customer, ATM Withdrawal Insurance is available to you at a nominal cost of Rs.199 per month which will be deducted automatically from your account each month on a designated date.

Can I select my account from which insurance service charges will be deducted?
Yes you may. Please call our Customer Interaction Centre at 111-06-06-06 anytime and designate the account from which you wish to have your insurance charges deducted.

How long am I covered for?
For Rs.199, ATM Withdrawal Insurance provides you 24 hours coverage for a period of one month.

How can I avail this insurance coverage?
As an existing RBS customer, you are automatically enrolled for this insurance coverage. For new customers, you may avail this insurance coverage at the time of account opening. You can also call our Customer Interaction Centre at 111-06-06-06 at any time to activate your insurance coverage.

How can I activate/deactivate my insurance coverage?
You may call our Customer Interaction Centre at 111-06-06-06, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to activate or deactivate your insurance coverage.

Can I reactivate my insurance coverage after I cancel or deactivate it?
Yes, you may reactivate your insurance coverage by calling our Customer Interaction Centre at 111-06-06-06. Please note that in a given year, you can reactivate your insurance coverage for a maximum of three times.

Will the insurance charge be reversed if I cancel my insurance coverage?
Deactivation of your insurance coverage will result in the reversal of the service charges for that particular month only. You will not be charged from the moment your insurance coverage is deactivated.

I have two or more relationship cards, are all my relationship cards covered under one insurance charge?
ATM Withdrawal Insurance charge of Rs.199 per month is applicable per relationship card. If you wish to cover additional relationship cards you are requested to activate insurance coverage on your other relationship cards by calling our Customer Interaction Centre at 111-06-06-06.

What is the Claim process?
4 step hassle-free process:

Step 1: Inform EFU General of the incident via fax or telephone (within 72 hours of the incident).
Step 2: Arrange a copy of a First Information Report (FIR) logged from the Police station.
Step 3: Fill out the claim form add link
Step 4: EFU General’s designated surveyor will contact you and collect the claim form, FIR along with a copy of your NIC for claim processing.

How long does claim settlement take?
Claims are settled within 10 working days after submission of the filled out claim form, and the required documents.

What if somebody else uses my relationship card?
For your financial security, your ATM Withdrawal Insurance coverage is applicable only if the ATM card is used by the person to whom the card was issued.
