Illness and death can strike without warning, and in case such an unfortunate event should occur, you would not want yourself or your loved ones to be burdened by your RBS Platinum Credit Card’s outstanding balance. This is why we offer you “Credit Protection”.

What is Credit Protection?
As an RBS Credit Cardholder up to the age of 60, your RBS Platinum Credit Card’s outstanding balance is insured in the event of death, terminal illness, critical illness, temporary or permanent total disability.

How much claim coverage will you be given?
Credit Protection protects you against:

Coverage	Coverage Description	Coverage up to (PKR)
Death	The amount of closing balance plus credit charges on the closing balance for a maximum period of 2 months after the date of death.	1,000,000
Terminal illness	The amount of closing balance plus credit charges on the closing balance for a maximum period of 2 months.	1,000,000
Critical illness	The amount of members closing balance.	Full payment of outstanding Credit Card balance.
Temporary total disability	The continuation of the minimum monthly payment during the disability period up to a maximum of 12 months.	Continuation of minimum monthly payment up to 12 months.
Permanent total disability	The amount of closing balance plus credit charges on the closing balance.	1,000,000

How much will it cost you?
It costs just 0.90% of your RBS Platinum Credit Card’s outstanding balance every month, which works out to just 90 paisas for every PKR 100 of your outstanding balance.
